I am very excited to be your teacher for this academic year, and I look forward to our
working partnership.

As we begin this new school year, I would like to explain some of my
principles,philosophies, requirements, and expectations for this academic year.

I believe that EVERY CHILD can learn. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to find the
best way to help you learn. I value the role I will play in your life. I treasure the
opportunity we have to learn together. I am here by choice. I believe the profession I
have chosen is honorable and necessary, and I welcome the challenge of fulfilling the
responsibilities I have chosen.

I believe that a teacher's role is to be as accessible as possible to both her students and
their parents.

20 years and very few of my students or parents have abused this privilege.
