This Web Site was created first to serve my students and their parents.

I have been in education for over twenty years and have collected 1000's of ideas, lessons, etc, if I have
not given credit where credit was due, please understand it was not my intention. Just e-mail me any
corrections and /or your wish for items to be removed.
Using the Internet in the classroom has some risks. The first of course is the question as to whether the
website is safe for children and is the content accurate, even if the teacher takes care of these risks,
there is always the final problem - which is "Is the website still active?"
Too many times I plan on a website being accessible and 1. It has disappeared, or been moved, 2. The
school's Internet connection is down or 3. The websites server is down. So to resolve that I have begun
making modified web pages of website pages that I want to use in class. This way I can install them on
a CD for use in the classroom or have some control on the accessibility on the Internet of the web pages
I want to have my students use.
