| The Old Super Glue Trick When my students did this activity they weren't sure what the results would be. They all felt it was so cool to see the fingerprints appear on the target material as well as all the finger prints on the sides of the bottle. |

| Find That Hidden Fingerprint |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Procedures 1. Put on the latex gloves. 2. Cut the aluminum foil into a one inch square. 3. Have the suspect handle the aluminum foil with their bare hands. 4. Put a couple of drops of super glue onto the aluminum foil. 5. Now place the aluminum foil into the glass jar and seal the jar. 6. Wait 24 hours. 7. Pull out the aluminum foil and observe. Did you find the fingerprint? Did you see any finger prints elsewhere on the glass jar? Does this work on any surface? Does the super glue have to be on the aluminum foil? |
